Perushtitsa Historical Museum is located in the historic part of the city, opposite the People's House of Culture ("Centre"). It was founded in 1955 to preserve the history of the settlement.
The museum introduces visitors to the history of the area, some of the exhibits date back to the beginning of the VI century BC Clothing, tools, jewelry and vessels, exhibited here give an idea of the culture and life of the people who inhabited this area in different historical epochs.
Of particular note is an exposition dedicated to the period of the liberation of Bulgaria from the Turks.
