In northwestern Dinaric in eastern Lika is a unique creation of nature - the largest national park in Croatia Plitvice Lakes.

The major attraction of the park, whose main task is to protect the unique landscape, natural vegetation and geological formations, a cascade of 16 beautiful Karst lakes in the upper reaches of the Koran, linked by 92 waterfalls. Located ladder lake level which forms a barrier of limestone tufa, are considered to be a treasure of Croatia.

However, the lake - it's not all the attractions of the national park, an important component of which is a cave in the amount of 36 pieces, the most famous among them Golubnyacha and Mratsna where you can see sinter-architectural ornaments, as well as get acquainted with the specific cave fauna of insects, crustaceans and bats .

In the park paved paths and bridges across the lake you can take a ferry and a special trailer will help shorten the path and rest the tired legs of tourists.
