Mirgorod resort park is located in the center of the city on both banks of the river Khorol. After 1915 there began to appear the first spas, which used the healing properties of the famous mineral water. This was made possible through the efforts of an outstanding military doctor and social activist Mirgorod, State Councilor and General of Infantry I. Zubkovsky who discovered the therapeutic potential of the local mineral water in the fight against diseases of the musculoskeletal system and the digestive system.

Currently, the resort park are the city's best balneological sanatorium on the shore Khorol equipped beach. The park is also a monument to VI Zubkovsky, the museum of the resort city of Mirgorod. There are also well-room with mineral water, and nearby is the town house of culture.

The highlight Mirgorodskogo Resort Park is, without a doubt, a lake with a fountain, where year-round live birds - swans and ducks. In the park there are two such lakes. All the park area "inhabited" sculptures depicting famous characters immortal Gogol's works. The majestic monument to the famous writer NV Gogol is located not far from the park. Also at the park it is the Holy Assumption Church in which the faithful come to pray and gain the healing water.
