'Park Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli "was established in the Italian region of Tuscany in 1979. It was one of the first regional park in Italy and secondly, to create in Tuscany (Maremma Park after founded in 1975). The park stretches along the coast of the provinces of Pisa and Lucca, "absorbed" in the municipalities of Pisa, Viareddzho, San Giuliano Terme, Vecchiano and Massarosa. In the past, these lands were covered with marshes, which over time filled with sediments deposited by rivers Serchio and Arno.

A variety of ecosystems and climate in different parts of the park to ensure the existence on its territory of a huge number of species of animals and plants - a real encyclopedia of the natural outdoors. From the park ecosystems are especially remarkable sand dunes, which stretch for 23 kilometers along the coast between the towns of Calambrone and Viareddzho, wetlands, occupying an area of ​​about 3 million hectares, cropland and forests that cover one third of the park.

Major attraction of the park is Lake Massaciuccoli, located in the zone of the same name and has no more than 2 meters deep. On the shores of the lake are of Torre del Lago and Massaciuccoli, the latter of which has long lived the famous composer Giacomo Puccini. Today his villa converted into a museum. Attraction of the park is its visitor center in Villa Borbone in Viareddzho. The villa was built in the early 19th century for Marie Louise de Bourbon, and in 1985 was transferred to the municipality. Another park visitor center is located in a villa in Medichea coltan.
