Alicudi - the westernmost of the Aeolian Islands. This volcanic island formed about 150 thousand years ago on the site of the volcano Montagnola, now sleep. Alicudi, an area of ​​about 5 square km 2, has a circular shape. 20 km to the east lies the island of Filicudi.
