High Castle - this is one of the highest points of the city of Lviv (413 meters above sea level) and one of the most romantic parks of the city. Park "High Castle" is located on the Castle Hill. It is noteworthy that with the mention of the name of the mountain dates back to the first legend of Lviv, in the annals of 1256.

Today, from the castle that once existed on the mountain and serves as an important defensive point, it was only part of the wall on the south-east. Now it's just a beautiful park where you can relax in the shade of century-old trees. It consists of two stages. The first tier is a garden and park area, where you can leisurely stroll through the alleys. If you look into the spaces between the trees, you can see a beautiful view of the city. It is a favorite place of citizens and guests of the city, especially in hot weather. There is also a monument to Maxim Krivonos, who with the help of troops of Bohdan Khmelnytsky once took possession of the fortress. No less interesting would be to visit an artificial grotto, the entrance to which is guarded by lions from the old town hall. It was created back in 1841.

The upper tier is a bulk mound, which is an observation deck. It is noteworthy that the mound mound used remains of the fortress and nearby houses, which ruined castle. Here you can admire the beautiful panorama of the city from a bird's flight. At the top of the High Castle is an observation deck, where weary pilgrims prudently put benches. In 1957, on top of Castle Hill was built by the television station, which culminated in a television tower height of two hundred meters.
