Mendelssohn House - this is the only known home and the outstanding composer, which has survived to the present. It was here that he lived a great performer and conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of Leipzig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy since 1845. The building itself is made in the neoclassical style, typical of the German culture of the time.

In 2014 Mendelssohn house has been completely renovated, and 205 th anniversary of the composer's museum appeared before the public in an updated form.
