Miniature Park "Mini Beau" is located in Køge. To preserve for future generations a picture of how looked Køge in 1865, it was decided in 1987 to build a historically accurate model of the city at that time. In 1994 he built the first house. Total mini-city will consist of 1000 buildings. By 2013, 400 houses have already been built and the construction continues: approximately 35 houses per year are added to this amazing model. There are only a few years before the full completion of the mini-city.

Mini-city built on a scale of 1 to 10, and in 1865 was chosen as the basis because of all the measurement areas were carried out from 1863 to 1865 and was created by an accurate map.

The huge help in the creation of a mini-city has a local archives, which have a wide collection of drawings, photographs and descriptions of old buildings and their surroundings. The organization, which is building the mini-house, was founded in 1990. It has 700 employees, over 100 of which are involved in the construction. Historians studying the archives in search of information, and do their job, all the information is transmitted to people who carry pictures and drawings of houses. Then it all goes to the builders. There is also a group of people who are made of bricks, tiles and other building material. They work in the studio, where an oven for roasting large items.

All workers are volunteers and do not receive money for their work. Mini-city - is an independent project, which is supported by a variety of foundations, local companies, private sponsors and the aforementioned company, which is called "Friends Mini Køge."
