Torbole sul Garda - a small town with a population of 2,300 people, in fact consists of two settlements - Nago and Torbole. Nago lies on the slopes of Monte Altissimo and Torbole stretches from the mouth of the river on the east bank of the Sacra of Lake Garda, surrounded by the mountain range of Monte Baldo. 5 km away lies the resort of Riva del Garda, and a little farther - the town of Arco. Through the influence of the lake and the surrounding mountains protect the Torbole sul Garda throughout the year can boast a temperate climate.

The first settlements on the territory of modern Torbole appeared in the Neolithic period. In 1439 the Venetians in an attempt to establish control over Lake Garda down the river Adige until Mori, going through the Valle del Kameras, and crossed the lake Loppi. A year later, they defeated the Visconti family rules here and took Riva del Garda and the surrounding area. During World War II, all the cities of Trentino-Alto Adige have been a part of the Third Reich, and in 1958 the region received autonomy.

Pende Castle, who is now under restoration, has a favorable strategic position, which offers wonderful views of the lake. Noteworthy is the church of San Vigilio, dating back to the 16th century, but is mentioned in historical documents since the 13th century.

In Torbole worth seeing the church of San Andrea, built in 1175 and renovated in the Baroque era. Piazza Vittorio Veneto Casa Alberti is a house with a fountain, where a bronze plaque memory of Goethe - the great German poet once visited these places. And on one of the small embankments Torbole you can see Casa del Datsio in Venetian style, which once housed the Excise Department.
