Museum KØS - a Danish museum dedicated to art in public places. The museum was opened in 1977 and is located on a pedestrian street in the heart of the charming Norregade Køge. In addition to the collections, the museum has to offer visitors a cafe and gift shop.

As the only museum in the country, specializing in art, which is familiar to everyone, it is unique. There is no finished works. The museum features more than seven thousand samples of drawings, models and other elements of preparatory work, which became the basis for the creation of unique works of street art.

A number of special exhibitions gives you the opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of the process, the problems associated with the creation of works of art in public places. In addition to the sketches, drawings, models here are photos, videos that shed light on how artists work together with architects, planners and people who are daily in contact with their work. Some even allow the exhibition to get acquainted with the discussions, often lively, that arise when art burst into crowded places.

The museum is very popular sketches Bjorn Norgarda. This artist has created designs for the royal tapestry in the Royal Palace Christiansborg, which is a Danish parlament.17 scale drawings and other works by the artist are exhibited in the museum on the top floor.
