Extensive five-domed Cathedral of the Assumption on the main square of Kashira was built in the years 1829-1842 in the Empire style with powerful white stone portico. The temple has two chapels - in the name of the Holy Virgin and in the name of Archangel Michael. Three-tiered bell tower of the cathedral is decorated with ornamental carving on the ledges. Since the 30s of the twentieth century, and until 1989 the Assumption Cathedral was closed, and is currently undergoing restoration work there.
Vvedenskaya church was built on the grain area in the years 1802-1817. Later he built a five-story bell tower, to which the merchant Pertseva was built on the sixth floor and delivered a striking clock. In Soviet times, the church, like everyone else, has been closed; interior decoration and wall paintings it almost did not survive. In 1991, church services are resumed.
