Sarakina gorge is located in the southeastern part of the island of Crete. The origins of the gorge near the small village takes MEPI 15-16 km west of Ierapetra. The length of the gorge is 1, 5 kilometers and ends near the coastal village of Myrtos. Sarakina gorge is narrow enough. Its width varies from an average of three to ten meters and only a few seats wider. The height of the rocks framing the gorge is 150 m, which is given its width, looks impressive.
