Calypso's Cave is located on the northern coast of the island. According to legend, this is where the nymph Calypso for seven years held captive Odysseus. On a steep cliff offering fabulous views of the sea and the bay of Ramla Hamra with a red sand beach. At the entrance to the grotto are always local boys offering candles for a small fee to tourists for a better examination of the grotto.
