About the Czech town of Kuks near the Giant Mountains have an unusual forest, most of which is hidden in a set of sculptures made by famous masters Matthias Bernard Braun. That's exactly it owns the work that adorn the Charles Bridge in Prague.

Customer sculpture park "Bethlehem" was made by Count Frantisek Antonin Spork. He was the inspirer and author of the idea. Baroque sculptures were created directly in a cliff in the years 1717-1732. With these figures, depicting various saints, sculptor Braun wanted to recreate a place that would be disposed to prayer and solitude, helped to focus and turn to God without prying eyes. This is really an amazing song called "Bethlehem" is listed in the list of UNESCO, which selects sites for protection, and thus provides funding for reconstruction. It is hoped that Bethlehem in Novi Forest will soon be under the protection of UNESCO.

The most interesting sculptures in this development is the arrival of the three kings, the statue of St Onuphrius, Adoration of the Shepherds, The Vision of St. Hubert. There is also a bench of stone, which is now called the seat of Brown. It is decorated with the book is a symbol of St. Paul.

Some of the statues were moved to a garden at the hospital in the center of Kuks. You can see the sculpture of St. Jerome with a lion, the figure of the great Christian warrior statue fragment slave Hagar.

All the time greenish statue looks very unusual, and even frightening, when you consider that around a deserted place. But tourists are happy to overcome the way here to see with my own eyes the creation of the great master.
