In 1920, in Hammamet came a rich Romanian architect George Sebastian. He built the unusual villa. It is decorated with cypress trees, a pool surrounded by columns and in the bedrooms - antique mirrors and Roman baths. Here there are many celebrities: Gide and Maupassant, Flaubert and Georges Bernanos, Churchill and King George VI.
The garden is the amphitheater, where the annual International Festival of Arts.
