Reserve "Valle Kavanata" spread over an area of ​​327 hectares on the eastern edge of the lagoon of Grado in the north-east of Italy. In 1920 this territory was created hatchery, which was fenced and equipped with a special bulk flood gateways. A considerable variety of ecosystems and limited human presence favored by the fact that Valle Kavanata became home to numerous species of animals. There are also birds of prey such as marsh harriers, and several "families" of mute swans and gray geese.
