Ramon Magsaysay Park - one of the most famous sights of Davao - named after former Philippine President Ramon Magsaysay, who died in 1957 in a plane crash on the island of Cebu. The park is often compared to Rizal Park in Manila. On its territory there are several government buildings, including the Philippine Tourism Association and the Department of Foreign Affairs. And the townspeople love the park for its pleasant atmosphere, convenient location and affordability. It often hosts a variety of shows, performances and other entertainment events. All this is attracted to the park, not only residents of Davao but also many tourists.

Since the park offers a magnificent view of the Davao Gulf and Samal Island on the horizon. In the center of the park stands a huge obelisk with a statue of President Magsaysay at its base, established here in 1960. And close to the historic pier of Santa Ana, to which in 1903 the first ship stuck with Japanese workers, arrived in Mindanao to engage in agriculture. Another interesting attraction of the park is the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary Pilarski outdoors.

In the alleys of the park you can always find loving couples, families with children, friends - for the convenience of visitors, there are several areas arranged for picnics. For children organized playgrounds, teenagers like large stadium, which seats up to three thousand people, and skate-ring and adults - a cozy restaurant where you can sample local delicacies. It offers visitors - a souvenir shop and a flower shop where you can buy beautiful orchids and other exotic flowers. And provided ample and secure parking for cars.
