Church of San Juan de Kazeles - one of the main attractions of Canillo and is one of the most beautiful churches of Andorra.

The temple, built in the XI - XII century., Stands on a small hill at the outskirts of the village and is a fine example of Romanesque architecture of this small European country. It offers a magnificent view of the picturesque valley surrounded by mountains.

The real decoration of the church of San Juan de Kazeles considered its three-storey bell tower - the tallest in the country. The bell tower was built apart from the church building, but was later joined her. Each floor has its window. As for the two upper floors, they are distinguished by twin windows that are decorated with beautiful arches, made in the Lombard style. Single-nave church with a semicircular apse. It has survived until today, both the portico, built around XVI and XVII century. Going into the monastery, you can see the remains of well preserved stucco Romanesque XII century., Is surrounded by frescoes. Church altar of the XVI century. It has high artistic value.
