Pantanal - a unique buffer zone, the world's largest wetlands, covered with blooming vegetation. The reserve is home to about 80 species of animals such as wolf-guar, anteater, sloth, wild boar, parrots, owls, deer and several species of monkeys, armadillos, coatis and many others. In the rivers of the area there are about 263 species of fish: Pintado, sashara, piranha, surimbata, as well as numerous species of snakes, turtles and reptiles.

We can not say about the flora of the Pantanal. Here there are fig trees, giant ferns, palm trees up to 10 meters high, different species of wild roses, wood piuva, lilies, giant water lilies and many others.

The most favorable time for a visit to the Pantanal from May to October. Tourist trips to the reserve last from several hours to several days.
