Museum of Modern Art in Bolzano, which is often referred to simply as Museion was founded as a private collection in 1985, and opened its doors to the public two years later. Over time, the mission of the museum has changed, it became a platform for a variety of meetings and discussions, as well as a studio where create true works of art. In 1991 it came to light the name of the Museion, but in the early 2000s, he turned his attention to contemporary art with an emphasis on the role of linguistic structures in culture.
