  Bagerhat is located 15 miles from the city of Khulna. Originally named Halifatabad, the city was founded in the 15th century Turkish general Ulugh Khan Jahan. There remained more than 50 historic monuments - mosques, palaces, mausoleums and others. In 1983, Bagerhat was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.   I can complement the description
