The area called Goygol became world famous thanks to the rich forests, unique nature and beauty. National Park was established in April 2008, to preserve this natural splendor. Fauna Goygol National Park is represented by a variety of birds, animals, insects, while their number is small. Here are the most common bear, lynx, roe deer, common hedgehog, hare, fox, Caucasian mole, stone and pine marten. Among birds and reptiles, the most widely used: the black vulture, partridge, bearded vulture, snow cock, alpine chough, viper Rudd, green toad, glass-lizard, green toad and smooth snakes.
