The house-museum of academician Beketov in the city of Alushta Professor's Lane was built in the Moorish style in 1896. The author of the project was itself AN Beketov. Land for construction of the house the famous architect Beketov gave his father, a well-known Russian physical chemist NN Beketov. Also, AN Beketov, the founder of Kharkov architectural school. The opening of the house-museum Beketov took place in November 1987, thanks to the initiative of the VP Tsygannika, with the participation and support of relatives Beketov Alushta city executive committee. All this was given to the museum by architect EA daughter Beketov and grandson of FS Rofe-Beketov.
