Construction of the palace Evksinograd designed by German architect Lersa began in 1861. The first name of the palace was Sandrovo - named after its founder, Alexander, but later became known as the Palace of Evksinograd, the ancient Greek name of the Black Sea ("Pont Evksiniysky" - "hospitable sea"). Over the years, the palace was ruled by Prince Alexander Batenberg, Sakskoburgottskim Ferdinand and his son, Tsar Boris III (until 1944).

Near the palace is a beautiful park, the creation of which dates back to 1890. For its breakdown were brought here over 50 thousand trees and fertile soil of the river mouth. Then planted beautiful cedars and palm trees still adorn themselves these places. Visitors to the park can also see a small lake and a nearby a bronze sculpture of Neptune. Much of this work was commissioned by King Ferdinand of Bulgaria and cost nearly half a million gold leva.

The building of the palace is relatively small, which, however, only gives it a charm and elegance. On the ground floor are reception rooms, a music room and dining room, on the second - a bedroom and recreation room on the third floor of the servants lived. From interior most interesting antique furniture made of walnut and mahogany massive, if not the giant chandeliers. Another interesting piece of furniture is antique sundial, a gift from the owners of the castle of Queen Victoria.

Finally, the last point of interest Evksinograd - wine hut, where from 1891 to the present day produced and stored the wine of excellent quality.
