The house-museum VI Kalashnikov is located on the street Pervomayskaya. The house is an architectural monument of the 18th century. It belonged to the family of Vasily Kalashnikov shipbuilder.

Former home of Kalashnikov had stood at the beginning of the street Sarai. This house is in a measure that was more fortunate others that were built before the development of the regular plan. The house is notable not only for its architecture but also by the fact that here was born and grew up a famous designer of steam engines, mechanic-heating engineer, Vasily Kalashnikov. This is his ancestral home.
