In honor of the 55th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in Ufa it was opened a museum dedicated to the heroic deeds of the Bashkir people. Locate the Republican Museum of Military Glory in one of the most beautiful corners of the city - Victory Park, connecting the two military-historical attractions in a single memorial.

Opened in May 2000, the museum is divided into two major exhibitions: on the ground floor - the life of Bashkortostan in the rear, while the second floor is devoted to military action Bashkir characters. The pride of the museum is an impressive diorama of a warrior, writing his name on the wall of the Reichstag, and the unique photographs, weapons, awards and uniforms.

Specially built for the museum building has the shape of a warship as an integral part in the exhibition of military equipment since World War II, located nearby. The author of the building project is D.A.Vinkelman in collaboration with architects P.A.Vinkelmanom, L.N.Varypaevoy, M.G.Pronina and O.V.Matkinoy. Thematic exhibitions and decoration of the museum, realistically convey the spirit of war, engaged artists and A.Milantev A.Fadeev.

National Museum of Military Glory actively involved in public life, and in the "Museum Night" guests with "the exhibits come to life", the military songs and sounds on the screen demonstrates the military chronicle. Next to the museum and Victory Park is another historic landmark - a monument of Friendship.
