One of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the capital of Bashkortostan is considered the garden of culture and recreation ST Aksakov, named after the Russian writer. At the end of the eighteenth century, the territory of the park belonged to the parents of the writer, and here in 1791 was born Sergey Timofeevich.

Aksakov garden was formerly known as Pigeon settlement, there was a manor house, outbuildings and a fertile garden. After the revolution, the private estate was transferred to the city, and in 1969 part of the garden were taken to build the plant, and then people tried to get round the noisy and uncomfortable place. At the beginning of the 1990s and launched in places swampy park began to elevate. Planted new trees, tiled sidewalks and otchischenny pond led to the desired effect and, since 2002, the Park of Culture and Rest. ST Aksakov was repeatedly voted the best park in Ufa.

Nowadays, the park is limited to the territory of the streets Pushkin, Z.Validi, Cjurupy and Novomostovoy. The park has a playground, a cozy cafe, a swim in the lake graceful swans and ducks.

Aksakov modern garden - a place for a romantic rendezvous with metallic scarlet flower, a quiet corner for a family holiday and a beautiful sight of the city. It has become a tradition to visit Swan Lake newlyweds. Adventureland ST Aksakov park is a monument of culture in 1989 in Ufa.
