The Chapel of All Saints is located at the main entrance of the castle Telchsky and is one of the most beautiful funeral constructions in Central Europe. The chapel was never intended to do the service, and once conceived as a place of calm Zachariáš owners of the castle of Hradec and his beloved wife Catherine Wallenstein.

The chapel is considered the youngest building in the castle grounds. It became part of the palace complex after a big renovation, Zacharias held in the second half of the XVI century. The chapel was built in 1580, designed by Baldassare Maggi, who also took part in the reconstruction of castles in the cup Krumlov, Yirndzhihove-Hradec in Brtnice. Interior decoration was completed only in 1589. In the center of the chapel established a large sarcophagus, decorated with wrought-iron grilles and frescoes. Here we can see the coats of arms Zachariáš and Catherine. Near the tomb are four sculptures of evangelists and composition representing the Holy Trinity.

The author, who created the tombstone and painted on the vaults, is unknown.

Wife Zachariáš died in 1571 - a few years before the construction of the chapel. When the Chapel of All Saints was completely ready, the remains of the castle mistress Telchskogo were moved here with all solemnity.

See the chapel can only be a part of tour of the Telč castle. Usually it is closed. Take a look at its interior is permitted through the bars blocking the entrance.

Until the 50s of the last century in the chapel sometimes held religious ceremonies, mainly funeral owners or managers of the castle.
