Gothic castle in Telč appeared before 1335, when the mention of her in the local chronicles .  By this time Telchsky Castle is a powerful building on the one hand protected waters of the lake, and on the other - is surrounded by a deep moat .  Owned by the Czech crown, the castle was impregnable and severe, poorly adapted to life .  Its numerous owners, alternating with an incredible speed, strongly landscaped castle, seeking comfort and convenience .  So, Jindrich of Hradec modified the appearance of a fortress, to remake it in the Gothic style .  Telchsky palace was rebuilt in the Renaissance style a wonderful man who now rests in the local church of St. James - Zacharias of Hradec .  He was a patron of the arts, art lovers and very educated man .  His high office Margrave of Moravia allowed him to carry out a number of economic changes, which resulted in local people became rich and prospered .
