Poetic word called Poodří countryside, which is located in the basin of the river Odra. This is an area of ​​waterlogged meadows, dense, impenetrable forests, deep ponds, whose tranquil expanse broken only fat carp. Part of this land is part of the Poodří Nature Reserve, on the territory of which laid a well-designed hiking trails and bike paths, allowing not only to enjoy the romantic views, but also to play sports without breaking the virgin nature.

Secure National Park is protected from winds by mountain ranges: the Carpathians and the Bohemian Massif. Such a quiet, pretty area could not miss the many birds that have chosen it as a stop during seasonal migrations. River Odra constantly finds new channel for its waters, so its swimming pool is a constantly changing system of islands, clearings, swamps, where the shelter hundreds of species of birds. It is a paradise for bird watchers! It was the desire to preserve populations of rare birds, and is due to the occurrence of Poodří Nature Reserve, founded in 1991.

The area is also famous for its rich fish ponds that were here in the XV century. Some of these lakes have disappeared, while others still are home to well-fed fish. Such natural lakes there are about 6 dozen. To see the most popular of them is to go to the small poselochki organized on their shores. This, for example, Studenka, also famous for its castle, Polanka nad Odra and others.
