And the tower, and the church burned several times. In the XVII century a fire destroyed not only the building itself, but the bells are installed on it. Funds for new bells at the hospital, the controlling church, was not. Then a wealthy Philistine own money purchased and installed a new powerful bell. Unfortunately, we are not able to hear the sound of it, because the bell was removed during World War II and sent to the smelter. After that, only the tower is decorated with a large clock, which, however, may herald the onset of a certain hour battle.

In the XVIII century by Emperor temple of the Holy Spirit ceased to function, his building stood closed for a long time, until in the XIX century, it is not located in the local theater.

In 1922, this church handed over to the Evangelical Church.
