Synagogue Garbarski - Private Synagogue, located in the Polish town of Szydłowiec.
The synagogue was built in 1730 for the Jewish workers of local tanneries Eisenberg family, which owns factories. It was a small building (9x13 meters), calculated for about 100 parishioners. The building was built of brick and local stone in the shape of a rectangle. Classical architecture with Baroque details preserved to this day only partially.
After the start of World War II, the synagogue was destroyed by the Nazis. In the postwar years the building for many years was neglected and was not repaired. Finally, in the fifties of the twentieth century, it was opened conference room. After the reconstruction of the building was produced almost entirely rebuilt, leaving only the front facade with a porch running strongly. The facade is partially preserved frescoes depicting a bottle of wine, a fruit platter, a Star of David and illegible inscription in Hebrew. The rest of the building was rebuilt.
Currently, the former synagogue housed the catering company, which is on the west side of the building has built a stage for various cultural events.
