Fountain "White Eagle" - Baroque fountain, located in the Polish city of Szczecin on the eponymous square. White Eagle Square in the old town in the eighteenth century became the most representative place in Szczecin. It housed many famous home residents. In addition to the exquisite monumental buildings, including the Palace under the Globe, the area is decorated with a statue of Flora - a Baroque monument to the goddess of fertility, as well as the fountain "White Eagle", in whose honor and was named the town square.

The project is a baroque fountain was designed by Berlin architect Johann Friedrich Graelem. Construction was carried out over four years, from 1729 to 1732. Above the decor were two well-known in those days, the sculptor - Johann Conrad Koch and Meyoson Andzherer.

The grand opening of the fountain took place August 15, 1732. "White Eagle" was built of sandstone. The main part of the fountain is in the shape of the stem, with four sides are cup-shaped petals clover. At the top of the fountain is a sculpture of an eagle with outstretched wings. Initially, the "White Eagle" was installed at another location, and only in 1866 was moved to its present location.

During the Second World War the fountain was filled with gravel and sand to protect it from destruction. This decision saved the "White Eagle" during the air raids on Szczecin. Overhaul of the fountain was carried out in 1990-1992 and in 2005-2006.

Today, the fountain "White Eagle" is one of the sights of the city, a meeting place for urban residents and decoration of the same name by the town square.
