Pinacoteca scenery of one of the most famous landscape painters of Southern Russian PM Grechishkina Stavropol - is one of the cultural centers of the city. Opened in November 1987, Gallery is located on the street Morozova, 12, in the white-stone building of the former cathedral mosque - a monument of history and culture. Initially, there were 167 funds gallery of paintings by the artist but PM Grechishkin, they are constantly replenished. To date, the art gallery presents 530 works. Besides paintings, the artist donated to the Endowment scenery collection has a large number of studies, including a personal archive Grechishkina rare pencil drawings that were created in the postwar period.

Born PM Grechishkin in January 1922 in the village of Lower Tatarka, Stavropol Territory. Under the influence of the unique nature of their native land formed the future outlook of the artist and the direction defined in the works - landscape. Subject master paintings is very wide.
