Loutraki - a small coastal town in the northwestern part of the Greek island of Skopelos. Loutraki is the second largest port of the island.

Today, Loutraki - a very popular tourist center of Skopelos with excellent infrastructure. There is a good selection of hotels and comfortable apartments as well as cozy restaurants and cafes (most of which are concentrated near the waterfront), where you can enjoy excellent local cuisine. Do not be disappointed, and lovers of beach holidays, as in Loutraki and the surrounding area there is plenty of good beaches.

You should definitely visit the traditional Greek village of Glossa, the harbor is actually a port of Loutraki. Glossa is situated at an altitude of 200-250 meters above sea level on the slopes overlooking the picturesque Loutraki hill, about a 30-minute walk from the harbor. This is a true Greek paradise with narrow cobbled streets, pretty immersed in greenery and colors of stone houses in the traditional architectural style of these places and incredibly relaxing atmosphere.

Attractions Loutraki and its surroundings it is worth noting the remains of the ancient citadel of Selinus, as well as the ruins of the Roman baths (4th century BC) and the sanctuary of Athena (5th century BC). Of particular interest is the monastery of the Archangels and the charming church Agias Ioannis Kastri, known in history of world cinema as a place to shoot scenes from the famous film "Mamma mia".

You can also take a fascinating tour of the picturesque Greek island of Skiathos. It is in close proximity to the island of Skopelos, just opposite the harbor Loutraki. The road will take only 15-20 minutes.
