Kamensky museum of arts and crafts and folk art - a place where you can get to know the creative heritage of the Don Cossacks, touch the roots of the culture and life of the Cossacks, to familiarize with their products and crafts. The museum is located at Prospect. Karl Marx, 56, in the center of Kamensk-Rostov region.

Initially, the two-storey building with a high foundation located historical museum, opened April 19, 1969 The building itself, like a big Cossack hut belonged to Cossack Colonel Peter Mikhailov. In 1918 it housed the Military Revolutionary Committee of the Cossacks Fyodor Podtyolkov. The building received the status of a monument of history.
