Museum of Fine Arts in Randers is located in the city center. The museum presents the most outstanding works of artists in Denmark. Particular attention is paid to work related to the 19 th and 20 th centuries.
The museum was founded in 1887, it contains a collection that includes Bole 4 thousand paintings, including works by Danish artists Christopher, Wilhelm Ekkersberga Kristen Kёbke, William Hammershoya, as well as many others. At the moment, the museum is housed in the cultural center of the city of Randers. The architect who designed this building, was Flemming Lassen. It was opened in 1969. Occupying an area of 7550 square meters, the building contains three exhibition galleries, an auditorium, a cafe and a shop.
