If you literally translate the word "Kinerma", it would mean "precious earth." Kinerma a Karelian village, lost in the depths of Pryazha region. The village was founded over four hundred years ago and chronicles the data indicate that it refers to the appearance in 1563. A unique feature of Kinerma is that out of 17 homes located in it, 10 of them are monuments of architecture. It is for this reason Kinerma no ordinary abandoned village, but a truly integrated real extraordinary monument of wooden folk architecture Livvik Karelians. Icon left the village in the 80s of the 20th century; it was moved to the Museum of Fine Arts, where she is now . No less interesting is the legend of the spruce forest, located around the chapel.
