Outside the village Chuynavolok, which is located in the Karelian Republic Pryazha region in the sacred grove of spruce, it is a chapel of St. Nicholas and Prophet Elijah. The approximate age of the church dates from the second half of the 18th century. Chapel safely hidden by numerous trees, and it can be seen only on the south side of the lake. At the moment, the chapel bears the function of the monument of national importance.

Chapel has relatively large dimensions and is in the form of a parallelepiped .  The roof is steep gable, topped with a cupola .  From the western part of the roof rises octagonal basis devyatistolbnaya bell tower, which is completely covered by a roof vosmiskatnoy .  Completion of the tent is made in the form of a dome with a cross located on the center column of the bell tower, a meter above the top of the roof of the tent .  In addition, on the west side of the chapel adjoining the porch from the top of the rectangular area, which leads to the center of the ladder with the bottom odnomarshevaya underground site .  The coating is a porch gable roof supported by pillars .  The division of internal space implemented on the cross-cut through the eastern half of which consists of two prayer rooms, separated by a longitudinal cut through, as well as the western half intended for the refectory of the room .  Chapels are equipped with an independent exit directly from the refectory and interconnected door .  Their refectory room with stairs leading to the belfry .

Chapel of St. Nicholas and Prophet Elijah is a wooden building, chopped into "Oblomov" to have tumbled down. Of the two layers of planks made slegovaya dorozhennogo roof. The chapel was built in honor of St. Nicholas and Prophet Elijah, and so the inside is divided by means of a wooden partition into two zones with separate entrances from the passage. Siding exterior walls made in the 19th century. Unfortunately, the internal decoration of the chapel is missing.

In 1998, the chapel was subject to restoration, which was carried out with the participation of Karelian masters experienced specialists from Norway.
