Paris Museum of Salvador Dali - France's biggest collection of works by the famous surrealist. There are more than three hundred of his works - paintings, sculptures, original graphic sheets. No wonder the name of the museum from French means "space Dali."

In 1929 he joined a group of surrealist Andre Breton. Seven years later, after coming to power in Spain, Franco caudillo, the artist fell out with the group standing in the left position. When he was expelled from the community, Daly said: "Surrealism - that's me." And it was true.

Dali lived and worked in France, then in Spain, in the United States. His scandalous work evolved: to visit Italy, he turned to academicism, though paintings were still full of surreal fantasies. In 1965 he returned to Paris and again won the city a brilliant job and crazy things. He was walking along the Champs Elysees anteater on a chain, shot quirky short films developed product brands, drew a wrapper for lollipop.

The basis of the museum's collection of Salvador Dali sculptures and engravings make up the genius of surrealism. Here is exhibited a complete set of master prints, signed by his own hand.
