The main attraction and the historic center Tovačov has always been and remains a luxurious castle of the same name that appeared on the river Morava in the XI century. His crowning tower height of 96 meters, which can be seen from anywhere in the city. Basically, if you happen to get lost in Tovachove, the tower you will be an excellent guide. The castle is constantly being completed, its owners have applied a lot of effort and spent fortunes on the improvement of its chambers. However, many changes still have not touched one of the portals, which is the oldest Renaissance entrance of the Czech Republic. The castle is now a museum. Tourists are invited to see the master's room, reception rooms, an art gallery with a huge collection of valuable paintings.

The town of Tovačov, which is now home to about 2, 5 thousand people, appeared at the walls of the castle. It settled people who are employed in the service of the castle, craftsmen, masters who offered their produce, farmers, processing the surrounding fields.

Modern guidebooks called Tovačov city in which the Czech Republic is best preserved ancient Renaissance mansions that make up the backbone of the city and located on the perimeter of the area, created in 1475. It can also see the beautiful town hall, the old fountain dating from 1694 year, who previously served as a container for collecting water, and a statue of St. Wenceslas in 1872.

The main temple of the city is the Church of St. Wenceslas. It was built in the period from 1788 to 1793 years.
