Novosibirsk Planetarium - a new, modern complex, which is a complex scientific and technical structure. Novosibirsk is the newest planetarium planetarium in Russia and the largest in the Asian part. History of the planetarium started in September 2006, following the first in Siberia Astronomical forum. That's when local amateur astronomers turned to the city authorities with a proposal to build its own Center for Astrophysics. Already in December 2006, the mayor V. Gorodetsky considered this matter at the first meeting. Project of the future planetarium was designed by architect I. Popovskii. The initial project was divided into two parts. The first phase consisted of the construction of the Astrophysical center, the park and the tower "Foucault". The possibility of realization of the project began in late 2009 Inauguration of the youth center "Planetarium" was held in February 2012, just a day of celebration of the Russian science.

The second hall is occupied: star room, two-tower observatory, a huge hall, classrooms and a coffee room. Star hall is designed for 114 people. The diameter of the dome that covers it, is 16 m. The hall is equipped with the newest Star projection equipment. Under the starry hall is film and video studio with the film studios, equipped with modern video equipment, allows you to shoot in HD. From the second floor of the Novosibirsk Planetarium can go to the observatory tower, adjoined to the main building. In the halls of the first and second floors of the planetarium is a museum with a variety of interactive exhibits that demonstrate phenomena and laws of physics, as well as models of astronomical telescopes and spacecraft.
