Children's Railway in Novosibirsk - a great set of railway, gaming, education, sports and cultural facilities, which are designed to teach students the railway industry. Small West Siberian Railway is located in the northern part of the city Zaeltsovsky park.

The idea to create Novosibirsk children's railway (DSB) has arisen 1930s. However, the dream became a reality only after almost 70 years. Road design institutes engaged Zheldorproekt and Sibgiprotrans and customers have control of the West Siberian Railway and the city hall. In the late summer of 2003 in honor of favorite Novosibirsk children's railway in Zaeltsovsky park installed a memorial stone. Its construction has actually started exactly one year later.

By train plied two passenger trains, which consisted of models of passenger cars and the locomotive 20.0011 TU7A. Two of the three locomotives provided, namely TU7A-TU7A 3339 and 3338, by special order were made on kambarka engineering works. In July 2004, they were taken to the locomotive depot Novosibirsk-Main. Engaged in manufacturing cars factory "Metrovagonmash" that the city of Mytishchi. In the summer of 2004 it was built the first batch of cars.

Opening the Small West Siberian children's railway was held in June 2005. The total length of the first stage of the railway was approximately 2600 m. Since 2007 Novosibirsk DSB operates three trains "Siberian", "Fairy Tale" and "Youth".
