Agios Prokopios is located on the west coast of the island in a well protected from the strong north winds bay approximately 5 km from the island's capital - the city of Naxos (Chora) and 2, 5-3 km from the airport.

Agios Prokopios - a beach with soft golden sand and very small pebbles. The length of the beach is about 1, 5 km. Once there was an old port of Naxos, is actively used by pirates and later by the Turks. You can reach the beach by public transport (regular bus service from Hora), by taxi or rental car. Close to Agios Prokopios Beach is another popular beach of the island - Agia Anna.
