Church of St. Peter

Church of Sts. Peter is very close to Marienplatz. It is the oldest church in the city. Modern church dates from the XIV century and was heavily rebuilt in the XVII century, but this place has long standing Christian church.

The architectural style of the building harmoniously combines elements of Baroque and late Gothic. The interior of the church is in the Baroque style: the majestic choruses, luxuriant decoration of the main altar, gilded pulpit, painted ceiling and dome.

The height of the bell tower of the church - 91 meters. The people call it "Old Peter". It is an observation deck, which offers great views of Munich.
