Parish Church of the Holy Trinity was founded right in the center of Gniezno, near the Market Square and was not meant for the upper class, and for artisans, merchants, moneylenders, peasants and other common people. She was opposed to the cathedral, which was built for kings and highborn nobles. Church of the Holy Trinity appeared on Farnham Street in 1420-1430, respectively.

The Gothic church was severely damaged by one of the fires, which were considered a real scourge of medieval towns. The church was restored in 1613 in the baroque style, and in 1687 it was attached to the Gothic tower, crowned with a Baroque dome with a spire. On the bell tower housed a clock with chimes. They're still working every day at 12.00 and 15.00, and play a tune in honor of Our Lady.

To the south aisle was added a small chapel Literary brotherhood. If you get around the church on the west side, on its facade, you can see the narrow windows, typical of the era Gothic.

Church of the Holy Trinity is not so richly decorated as the cathedral, but it is also worth a visit during a visit to Gniezno.

The interior of churches are mainly furniture and decorative arts, which were made in the XVIII century, for example, the font or the baroque pulpit, made in 1787. However, there is here and the earlier church artifacts. These include the altar of the chapel of the Literary Brotherhood, which was created in the first quarter of the XVII century, or the door, blocking the entrance to the sacristy. It is made of iron and dates from the first half of the XV century.
