Two locks - old and new - are located on the outskirts of the town Studenka, and part of the castle complex of the same name.
Get to Studenki very easy: just take the train to Ostrava and after 20-30 minutes, get off at the train station Studenka. The local castle will be of interest to those interested in the history of rail transport in the Czech Republic. Its interiors are reserved for the exhibition, which tells about the development of this mode of transport, the appearance of the Moravian-Silesian plant to build cars. The castle presents railway carriages, which were issued before 1996. See vintage cars inside and out it will be interesting to both adults and children.

The history of the castle complex is quite common. Old Castle - an ancient two-storey Gothic castle, which was later rebuilt in the Renaissance style. The new two-storey chateau in baroque style appeared next to the Old in the XVIII century. After some time, both the palace were rebuilt in the same style and now complement each other.
Near New Castle was defeated by the English landscape park, where cultivated plants listed in the Red Book. The park covers an area of 3 hectares and is suitable for walks.
Castle Complex belongs to the municipal authorities of the town Studenka, and is considered a national monument of the Czech Republic.
