Do you know how many there are Czech castles? You can name the exact amount paid by a businessman by the name of Theodore Reinhold castle in the town fulnek. Its purchase cost $ 10, 8 million kroons. This happened in 2008. And if the locals initially feared that the interiors of the castle will be permanently closed to the public, and therefore the flow of tourists who annually visit the town to decline, they soon breathed a sigh of relief. Dilapidated buildings, which gradually fell into disrepair, is now being actively repaired. Permanent reconstruction does not interfere with the interesting excursions. The new owner gave a second life to old castles and only increased interest in fulnek and from travelers and from local historians. About the castle began to write frequently in the press. He participates in many programs, giving its interiors and surroundings for historical festivals.

The castle complex consists of two buildings, which appeared on the place of a Gothic fortress, adorning the top of a local hill. These buildings were named Upper and Lower castles.

Upper Castle was built in the XVI century in the Renaissance style. Then a tall tower, from which you can survey the neighborhood. It was completed in 1633. In 1801, in the castle there was a large fire which destroyed everything. The owners of the castle were able to recover only the north wing.

Lower Castle has appeared in the XVII century, and not subjected to reconstruction. It is designed in the Baroque style, and that it is now called Fulnekskim lock.
