Ostrog monastery - acting Serbian Orthodox monastery in Montenegro. It is situated in the mountains, at an altitude of about 900 meters, and the nearest city - Danilovgrad - 15 kilometers.
The monastery was founded in the XVII century, since the days are relics of its founder - Basil of Ostrog. Miracle Worker, died April 29, 1671. Today, in the monastery of twelve monks live.

The monastery complex is located at a distance from Podgorica 30km to the west. Geographically it covers the foot of the cliff Ostroshka Grad. Eight kilometers from this place there is a road connecting Podgorica and Niksic.
