Royal Chapel of San Antoneo de la Florida is located in Madrid, on the right bank of the Manzanares River, in the area of ​​Glorieta .  The chapel is an excellent example of neoclassical architecture .  It was built in the 18th century by order of King Carlos IV, who gained located next to the Palace of La Florida and wanted to be close to his new possession church .  Construction of the church was designed by architect Philip Fontana lasted from 1792 to 1798 .  Chapel of San Antoneo de la Florida is unique in that it was painted by an outstanding Spanish painter Francisco Goya .  The royal couple, instructed the painter painted the church, gave him complete freedom, and due to the fact that the church belonged to the royal court, the work of Goya is not controlled by the clergy and the Academy of Arts .  His mural the artist created for six months .  The main theme, chosen by the artist for the murals was the Miracle of St. Anthony of Padua . 

In 1905, the Chapel of San Antoneo de la Florida was declared a national monument. In 1919 the remains were moved here by Goya. To save the greatest work of art - Goya frescoes - the chapel was turned into a museum, and nearby in 1928, was built exactly the same church for parishioners.

Every year, the feast day of St. Anthony, June 13, the chapel became a place of pilgrimage for many single women, each of which come here to ask St. Anthony to help her find her other half.
